Since 1991, Groupe APPM has been building the HR foundations of companies driving Mali forward.
FOUNDED IN 1991
A history built on trust and genuine partnership.
It was Sékou Diakité, founder of Groupe APPM, who seized the opportunity created by the amendment of the Labour Code (Article L301) on 1 October 1991 — ending the ANPE monopoly on personnel placement. In December 1991, under Decision No. 2 of the National Directorate of Employment and Social Security, the agency was accredited as a Recruitment Consultancy.
In 1992, the National Labour Directorate authorised APPM to enter into service contracts with companies using temporary labour, making APPM concurrently a temporary employment agency.
From the outset, Sékou Diakité's vision was to build a genuine partnership with clients — not merely to provide recruitment, but to support companies in their broader HR thinking. That vision led APPM to develop the full range of HR services it offers today.
THE FOUNDER
Sékou Diakité — Founder & General Manager
Sékou Diakité founded APPM in 1991 and continues to lead it as General Manager, guided by the same vision: combining human proximity with operational excellence. Under his leadership, APPM has grown from a recruitment consultancy into a comprehensive HR platform, trusted by SMEs, multinationals and international institutions across Mali.
