Death benefit

Upon the death of an insured person receiving a pension or a worker entitled to a pension, the survivors are entitled to a survivor’s pension as follows. The widower or widow who has been married for at least two years, is not remarried, and is not divorced or legally separated.

• Dependent children (biological or in foster care)
• Under 14 years of age,
• Aged 14–21 and in full-time education,
• Over 21 years of age and disabled.
