It is expressed in FCFA per month. The amounts must be validated based on the project budget, the NGO’s HR policy, the position level, the duty station, and the donor’s rules.

Risk / security allowance 75,000 750,000 For areas presenting security, humanitarian, or health risks. This allowance must be strictly regulated.

Project completion bonus 25% 100% of monthly salary May be awarded at the end of the project if provided for in the employment contract or HR manual.
Supplementary health insurance 50% 100% coverage The employer often covers 80% to 100%, with partial family coverage depending on the internal policy.
Supplementary pension contribution 2% 10% of salary Optional, depending on the level of organisational maturity of the NGO or project.
Children’s education allowance 100,000 1,500,000 per year Generally reserved for senior managers, expatriates, or relocated national employees.
