Social protection is the primary non-financial motivator for employees. In Mali, it is established by Law No. 99-041 on the Social Security Code and Law No. 09-015 on Health Insurance.
These laws cover four social protection programs for all employers in Mali
- Pensions due to reaching retirement age, permanent disability, or death,
- Workplace accidents and occupational diseases,
- Protection against illness,
- Family benefits,
